Clothing Stain Removal Via the Sun

It's as easy as it sounds!
Stain removal by way of the sun.

Why is this technique not more widely known? I only found out about it last year myself! This is a very good technique for any clothing. But, especially for parents who cloth diaper. Mostly because stains on cloth diapers are from poo and no one wants to see that. But, it can also be very difficult to simply wash out baby food stains. So, I've put together a few things to help get those tough stains out.

It's very simple:

-Wash whatever is stained

-Hang it out in the sunlight for a few hours and/or until the stain is completely gone

Be careful not to leave the clothing out in the sun for many days at a time in case of sun bleaching. It could fade the colors.

You can also use baking soda and vinegar to help release stains from clothing.

You mix just a small amount of vinegar in with some baking soda (amounts vary depending on the size clothing and stain). Then, scrub the stain and rinse.

Here's a video for sunning diapers to remove stains:

There are many more ways to get a good stain out. But, these are the most natural ways that I've found. Plus, sun stain removal is 100% FREE and is a natural germ killer.
